Infrastructure Analyst II (SQL Server DBA Production ) , Moline IL, 3 Years, Start date 26/5/2015, Position - 1

• Production experience in SQL Server 2008 and 2008R2 (strong) required
• Experience in SQL Server 2012 a plus Experience in setup and maintenance of Clustering Experience in setup and maintenance of Database Mirroring Experience in Quest Products (Performance Analysis, Spotlight, LiteSpeed)
• Experience in PowerShell scripting a plus Experience in SSMS Strong knowledge in database backups, recoveries and data restorations DBA needs to be at a "senior" level (i.e. minimum 5 years)
• Ability to apply SQL Server software maintenance upgrades and fixes for current and past versions
• Ability to monitor and react to system-down situations Experience in installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining databases
• Ability to investigate and resolve problems which may require working with the supplier
• Ability to assist in architecture planning and implementation to maintain a highly available infrastructure
• Willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call rotations
• Ability and willingness to work with a global support team (current resources in India)
• Since significant interaction is done among team members, as well as with Database owners, this person needs to have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work both independently and cooperatively with others.
• MUST have good English skills Professional certification is not required, but is desirable
• The supplier is responsible for all training for their employee before and during the engagement
