This is a full sales cycle, strategic inside sales role, pursuing new business or expanding sales licenses within Tableau Software customers in LATAM. This role provides excellent income and career growth potential at a fun and exciting company. As Sales Area Manager, you will be assigned a specified territory with revenue and transaction quota working out of our office in Seattle, WA, Austin, TX, or Palo Alto, CA and will report to the Manager of the Latin America Inside Sales Team. You will manage the sales process with new or existing customers in Latin America, including following up with marketing generated leads, relationship-building, qualification, product demonstrations over the web, account follow-up, writing proposals, negotiating and closing business. This is a high impact and quota-carrying position.

- Represent and sell Tableau product suite and services via phone to new or existing customer accounts in Latin America of all sizes and industries
- Meet and exceed direct sales quota within assigned geographic territory
- Manage all aspects of the sales process including following up with marketing generated leads, prospecting new customers, qualification, evaluation, negotiation, close and account management
- Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales potential with the ability to manage an average of 60-80 sales opportunities at once, and close a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline
- Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast.
- Manage and track customer and transactional information into our CRM Salesforce.com; logging all sales activity; keeping customer account current and accurate
- Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including pre-sales, sales engineering and product support
- Conduct web-based product demonstration, leveraging solid product expertise and technical knowledge
- Practice effective, excellent communication with management, legal, and support staff.
- Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success

Who you are …
- Experience. You have two to four years of direct sales experience, preferably in high volume, transactional sales of technology or services.You are fluent in Spanish and English, with a willingness to work following Mexico's time zone.

- Go-Getter. You’re proactively able to identify and generate leads and opportunities without dependence on inbound leads. You’re willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic and no fear of creating conversations from scratch.
- Domain. Basic knowledge about the BI industry, experience with Salesforce.com, and experience in a technical sales role (product support or training) are a plus. Bachelor's Degree with a communications, technical or business focus preferred.
