Specific Position Requirements
Primary Position Responsibilities & Duties-
Develop test plans and provide input to test stand design to verify and validate machine hardware.
Work with technicians and outside machine shops to coordinate test stand builds.
Manage test stands and work with technicians to coordinate their operation.
Verify and validate functionality of mechanical systems.
Document any issues with hardware functionality and all conditions observed at the time of the failure or event.
Work with design engineers to determine the root cause of customer issues.
Analyze instrumented data and report results of tests.
Perform validation tests of solutions to issues.
Update test procedures as needed for specification changes, additional testing procedures, etc. Work with field machine technicians to troubleshoot/fix problems.
Write work requests to install and test hardware on field test machines.
Travel to field test machines to diagnose problems and/or collect data.
Required Skills
Required Skills, Knowledge, & Relevant Work Experience BS in Agricultural, Mechanical, or like field
Previous experience with mechanical systems required.
Experience with agricultural equipemt is highly desirable.
Good computer skills.
Self motivated.
Prior vehicle/ component test experience highly desirable.
Excellent organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work with multifunctional, cross-cultural design teams and interface with vehicle design centers and suppliers.
Willing to travel to field test or supplier sites (up to 8 weeks per year). 1st Shift position. Some OT is possible. - --------------------------------------- Best Regards,
