As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you will work as a key member of our sales team to envision and communicate manufacturing software solutions using Cincom technology running within the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform. You will engage with prospects and Partners to deliver the overall design of the solution and mapping manufacturing business requirements to systems/technical capabilities. The Pre-Sales Solution Architect works as the primary technical member of the sales team to demonstrate software capabilities and respond to technical questions. You will need to build and maintain high-level relationships to ensure that prospective customers obtain the maximum value from Cincom products and services.

Responsibilities
- Support the sales of Cincom’s innovative Manufacturing Business Suite by addressing business needs of potential customers with value-driven solutions
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sales process and engagements with channel partners and prospects
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with key decision makers
- Share best practices and be a technical consultant to the sales team and prospective customer through the sales cycle
- Produce a solution design that meets the customer’s requirements and a solution architecture that provides a basis for technical scope from configuration to integration
- Participate in product and partner sales training
- Create and deliver customized sales demonstrations on virtual machine’s upon which product demos are hosted
- Assist the services team in defining scope and statements-of-work
Qualifications: - BS/BA/MBA Degree
- Experience in complex manufacturing / high-technology industries a plus
- Excellent presentation, demonstration, and customer facing skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with large-scale application technical software sales to automate complex manufacturing processes in ERP solutions
- Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics, J. D. Edwards, SAP, Oracle and/or other similar large-scale technology implementations
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX a strong plus
- Familiarity with BI applications/systems a plus
- Knowledge of integrating 3rd party applications a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft ISV’s offerings that are applicable to the ERP environment a plus
- Fast learner/self-starter with an entrepreneurial work ethic
- Effective listening, communication and great analysis skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Knowledge of web-based systems and service-based architectures as well as experience managing customer expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints
- Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
