Working with cross-functional teams, you will apply advanced and thorough knowledge in electrical and electronic engineering to develop industry leading medical diagnostic instruments and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Resolve all technical issues in area of responsibility by own knowledge or efforts or by directed.
• Perform all aspects of applied electrical and electronic research and development working with cross-functional teams to develop industry leading medical diagnostic instruments and systems from concept development through customer delivery using an established product development process.
• Conduct electrical design and analysis, particularly analog, embedded digital/micro controllers and sensor instrumentation.
• Design electronic circuitry schematic and PCB layout;
• Evaluate design and design approaches as well as verifying the technical integrity of designs compared to design specifications.
• Ensure the electronic design meet safety, performance, regulatory, reliability and cost goals;
• Conduct product functional testing and certificate testing for various standards.
• Responsible for design life cycle activities from conceptualization, design, verification, qualification, documentation to commercialization.
• As individual contributor, supply advanced technical skills either by working alone, or as a member of a team.
• As product designer, plan, conduct and summarize the prototype testing together with the testing engineers.
• Complete the documentations of design and testing and upload to SAP database.
• Submit invention report and patent disclosures, evaluate and file patents.
• Provide necessary leadership to technicians, drafters and other support staff as well as work effectively with others on the project team.
• May serve as technical consultant to other departments and divisions on an advanced technical level.
Required Background:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or a related technical area and 5 - 8 years of experience.
• Entry level for an individual with a Masters Degree and less than 3 years of experience. (Must have demonstrated ability to perform at the engineer level).
• Demonstrated specialization in a specific engineering field
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Demonstrated successful completion of multiple design projects at the component or subsystem level
