This job announcement is for a Logistics Management Specialist for the Department of the Navy overseas duty locations.
This is a Direct Hire Public Notice; under this recruitment procedure, each location/installation, identified in this Public Notice will make selections for vacancies as they occur. These positions are being filled under Expedited Hiring Authority (EHA) for positions located at Department of Navy installations identified in this public notice. Positions may be filled as permanent with a full-time work schedule. Pay will vary by geographic location.

GS-09 Requirements
Applicants must possess at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector ORpossess a Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LLB., or J.D. (if related). Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting in the development and/or execution of support plans during any stage of the logistics life cycle (i.e., design, manufacture, operation, disposal) in at least ONE of the following areas: 1) maintenance planning, 2) supply support, 3) technical data, 4) training, 5) support equipment, 6) design interface, 7)packaging/handling/storage/transportation, 8) manpower and personnel, 9) computer resources support, 10) facilities, 11) sustaining/system engineering, or 12) protection of critical information.
GS-11 Requirements

- These positions are concerned with directing, developing, or performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program.
