THE EMPLOYER: World-class FMCG organisation
The Role
You will manage the full operations of a custom licensed warehouse and
distribution to achieve optimal performance. You will develop and ensure
the implementation of an operational logistics plan for the company, in
line with local, regional and global supply chain plans, in order to
drive world class customer service and logistics performance and
continuous performance improvement against minimal costs. 
 

Your Key Roles And Responsibilities Include
 

  * Define and implement a logistics strategy, in line with the company and global business strategy to achieve optimal performance in terms of cost, quality, customer service, etc.

  * Manage customs for regular operations and new licences/changing processes

  * Manage and monitor the execution of the contracts with logistics  service providers to guarantee the required service and cost, in line with the defined logistics strategy.

  * Execute all logistics activities according to plan, monitor variations and react in a timely and effective way

  * Ensure proper and safe storage condition for the protection of all finished products, all packaging materials and A&P materials to  ensure adherence to quality and safety standard and operations

  * Ensure physical stock security and proper investigation is conducted

    for any discrepancies

  * Timely submission of application for new custom lot code for new product introduced and changes

  * Accurate and timely system records and reports relating to the operations of the bonded store for custom requirements

    

 

Job Requirements
 

  * Degree in Logistics Management/Supply Chain or any other discipline.

  * At least 5 years of managerial experience in FMCG environment and in

    managing licensed warehouse and inventory.  TradeNet experience and

    experience in using warehouse management system
  * Knowledge of modern warehousing and storekeeping procedures, optimum

    space utilization and stock inventory procedures.

  * Comprehensive knowledge of pertinent laws, codes, regulations and

    policies, e.g., Custom and Excise regulation.
