The Role
- Apply industry knowledge and professional judgment in collating, analysing and synthesising appropriate software requirements, software design to adhere to customer's software standards and company's work instructions
Produce high quality, technically accurate reports and other documents in support of projects to clear safety panels and review committees
Manage and assist contractors in the areas of software safety
Provide safety mitigation solutions and identify safety critical functions
Formulate and design test cases for safety critical software functions
Requirements
Degree in Electrical/ Computing Engineering
Able to read and understand source code written in various programming languages
Able to draw and understand flow charts and software sequence diagrams
Working knowledge in Control Systems
Familiarity with software safety standard(s) will be an advantage
Experience with Real Time Operating System will be an advantage
Experience with working through one full software development cycle
Good team player and must be confident in delivering technical presentations
Good written and communication skills
Good people skills and be able to engage customers
