Program Manager- Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence Amitech Solutions - St Louis, MO

Program Manager- Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence Amitech Solutions is seeking a combination of a Program Manager and EIM (Enterprise Information Management) Architect with experience managing Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing projects. This is a full time position.  

The PM will be responsible for delivering an excellent client experience, serving as a trusted advisor to the client, and expanding the company footprint with the client. The delivery areas include: managing complex project initiatives, sometimes as the dedicated project managers, and other times as delivery oversight, in the information management and business analytics arenas, as well as opportunity identification, project extension, and team expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the project portfolio and project P&L
• Establish standards for Portfolio Management including processes, appropriate project controls, methodologies, metrics, reporting, and tools
• Deliver and/or oversee delivery of multiple projects / solutions and manage other project managers
• Manage individual projects, as needed
• Assemble a solution delivery team for new engagements, including assisting with interviewing and hiring of technical staff
• Develop and manage project team members
• Manage project risk, project scope, change management, timeline, milestones, and deliverables
• Ensure consistent project management methodology is followed on all client engagements
• Develop proposal, pricing, and a statement of work for solutions and extensions
• Use a consultative engagement approach, and serve as a trusted advisor to client
• Execute a land and expand strategy including project extension and team expansion responsibilities
• Execute a delivery oversight model to create incentives for consultants, exceptional delivery, and expansion.
• Ensure customer reference-ability and support ongoing relationships

Required Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 5+ years in IT service management/program management providing project management and daily operational oversight within a professional services delivery environment
• 5+ years of data warehousing/BI/and analytics solution design and development experience including ETL, MDM, Data Quality, and BI tools
• 3+ years of healthcare industry experience is a plus
• PMI PMBOK, PMP, certification is a plus
• IT Experience: project manager, business analyst, development, data warehousing, business intelligence, analytics
• Proven track record of successful project implementation, program management, project extension, and account expansion over multiple clients or engagements
• Strong business acumen with the ability to develop a business case, to gather business requirements, and translate them into a customer solution
• Experience managing, delivering, and administrating client professional services agreements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, analysis and problem solving skills as well as excellent time management and organizational skills
• Superior people and personnel management skills
• Demonstrated advanced project data / risk analysis and correlation / mitigation skills
