Prepare process flow diagram (PFD),mass balance, line sizing,PID,UFD,block flow diagram.
Design / Sizing of process equipment(e.g column,exchanger,vessel,pump) and preparation of equipment sheets.
Design relief systems, alarm/interlock matrix, and functional description
Prepare control philosophy, preliminary operating instructions.
Participate in technical meeting with customer.
Prepare process guarantees for the plant.
Participate in hazop analysis or other safety reviews.
Startup, commissioning and trouble-shooting of plants, data collection, validation.
Any other work as required by the management. B.E./B.Tech(Chemical) Degree in Chemical Engineering as minimum, or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years process design or plant experience
Proficiency in process simulation software(eg.Pro-II/Aspen plus / Hysis / chemcad),heat exchanger design software(eg.HTFS / HTRI ) will be added advantage.
Sound knowledge in process control and instrumentation.
Familiar with unit operations in process plants and sound technical knowledge in heat and mass transfer.
Knowledge in polymer process and experience in plant start-up and commissioning experience will be an advantage.
