Associate Engineer / Senior Associate Engineer (CMT), Facilities Engineering (Tampines)

Job Purpose
  • Assist Sr Engineer to carry out Facilities plant maintenance including troubleshooting, corrective, breakdown and ad-hoc maintenance. Ensure all Facilities systems are operating with minimum downtime and zero incident
Responsibilities
  • Carry out Preventive Maintenance for Mechanical, Electrical, UPW, WWTP, STP, Burn Box, Abatement exhaust ducting systems and Burn Box logging
  • Supervise and coordinate work with vendors on Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance and Ad-hoc Maintenance
  • Assist Sr Engineer on Mechanical, Electrical, UPW, WWTP and STP system trouble shooting such as Fire alarm and protection system, VSD, UPS, Emergency genset, process exhaust system etc
  • Provide assistance to Sr Engineer in general mechanical repair works such as motors, pumps bearing replacement, pumps mechanical seal replacement, heat exchanger cleaning, pump overhaul etc
  • Assist Sr Engineer in general electrical repair work such as Motor Manager, Feeder Manager, FFU, PS4, MCCB replacement, VSD capacitors, cooling fans replacement etc
  • Assist Sr Engineer in UPW, WWTP, STP repair works such as RO pump, reclaim pump, loop pump, sump pump, diaphragm pump bearing replacement etc
  • Assist Sr Engineer in Electrical predictive maintenance work such as IR Thermal scanning
  • Assist Sr Engineer in Corrosion control program such as piping thickness monitoring, corroded piping replacement, painting of piping and equipment structure in cooling tower, scrubber yard, roof top area
  • Specialize in one of the M & E, UPW, WWTP, STP systems to improve, enhance PM activities and provide suggestion on system design
  • Assist Sr Engineer in Mechanical predictive maintenance work such as vibration monitoring
  • Attend all schedule training for GLOBALFOUNDRIES compulsory courses and in-house training conduct by vendors
  • Participate in weekly meeting for job planning, outstanding works/issues discussion and share knowledge and group discussion on resolving issues or incident
  • Prepare daily Permit to Work and verify on site and ensure good housekeeping before and after maintenance works
  • Ensure safety regulations are complied

Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical & Controls / Chemical Engineering
  • At least 2 years of work experience on M & E or UPW system
  • Hands-on working skills on M&E or UPW system e.g. troubleshooting skills
  • Diploma holders with more years of relevant experience in a similar capacity will be considered
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
