Systems Analyst/Specialist OTM (Logistics)
[Description] The person hired will be expected to:

Business Requirements

Discuss and validate business requirements with user
Review business requirements specification
Translate business requirements to functional requirements for product/technical team to commence configuration or development

Requirements Analysis

Involve in discussion with product/technical team to evaluate feasibility of proposed changes
Advise or propose to business users on process improvement/re engineering through the use of IT solution

Software Development

Assist in solution design, configuration or development and unit testing for new projects and enhancement requests
Track and monitor enhancement and support deliverables by service providers (e.g. AMS) as specified in the SLA
Track and monitor project deliverables by product team as per agreed timeline

Testing

Oversee system integration testing
Coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing and training
Manage resolution in user acceptance testing

Deployment/Implementation

Coordinate with customers or users the project rollout or enhancement implementation
Contribute to the success of project rollout or enhancement implementation

Application Support

Ensure application security, audit and process compliance for systems in managed project, support and enhancements
As the Subject Matter Expert for the supported application systems
Ensure 24 x 7 applications availability and applications performance

Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines

– 10 years within the transportation industry, information technology, or systems engineering

– 7 years involved in business analysis, solution design and/or project management

– 7 years’ experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with exposure to complex landscape

Must Have Skill Sets
Translate business requirements into functional requirements ( or non functional requirements)
Good hands on experience on PL/SQL & J2EE
Experience within Logistics domain
Experience in different phases of SDLC activities
Good communication and writing skills

Proficient In At Least 3 Or More Of These Essential Technical Areas
Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
Oracle Warehouse Management System (Oracle WMS)
Oracle (10g or above) Database, PL/SQL
Oracle Advanced Queue (OAQ) / Informatica
XML & XSLT
Enterprise Reporting Tool (BOBJ)
