Tax Manager Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific Pte Ltd - Singapore

Managing a tax team in an affiliated company and overall responsible for the tax compliance and advisory function which include active oversight of tax planning, transfer pricing, tax projects, tax audits, local tax (direct and indirect) reporting. Operational hands on and work closely with the business, providing advisory support for business expansion or operational issue. Have strong tax technical skills, good commercial judgment, and a track record of strong cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration on operational business issues.

In your new role you will:

• Ensure accurate and timely tax filling (direct and indirect), manage contracts and tax issues, support audit, manage tax risks and ensure tax compliance and legislation
• Tax advisory support to different business units on business transactions or cross-broader transactions
• Ensure compliance to the tax incentives/schemes available to the company
• Review and ensure the accounting process meets the statutory tax requirement
• Review transaction/computation on transfer pricing and ensure compliance with company's policy
• Provide tax advice with respect to the group's operations in the APAC region and advise on the tax consequences of various domestic and cross-border transactions
• Work closely with the Accounting team and other key stakeholders to ensure direct and indirect tax compliance
• Provide tax documentation including procedures and workflows
• Ad-hoc projects on business requirements; tax training; accounting and tax related projects
  

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with professional qualification with SIATP (e.g. ATA, ATP)
• 10 years relevant experience with CPA firms and/or MNCs
• Good knowledge of Singapore tax legislations (direct and indirect taxes) and Asia Pacific tax exposure
• With exposure in regional/international tax is ideal
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage; Strong Microsoft office application
• Good interpersonal skills, and have the confidence and maturity to deal with all levels of staff
• A self-motivated and versatile leader and excellent interpersonal skill with energetic personality
