Marine & Offshore Travel Counselor American Express Global Business Travel - Singapore

• Responsibilities include:
  • Arranging routine and complex domestic and international business travel for air, car, hotel, limo and rail.
  
  • Providing consultative multi-country routings for best fares and preferred carrier usage.
  
  • Consult client on efficient routes, lowest available fares, exchange rates and travel products/services
  
  • Ensuring optimum customer servicing while coordinating interdepartmental responsibilities.
  
  • Proficient knowledge in any GDS.
  
  • Ensure optimum customer service through effective use of Amadeus reservation system and positive telephone service techniques.
  
  • Act on special customer requests and maintain excellent client relations.
  
  • Clients will be booking air, hotel, car, marine and offshore fares - Prior knowledge and experience with offshore marines fares preferred.

  Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3+ years of recent corporate experience – Marine/Offshore competence is a plus.
  • Working knowledge in GDS, Amadeus is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience with Group bookings is desired.
  
  • Knowledge of international fare construction and airline routing principles; at least 3+years of international experience is required.
  • Extensive geographical skills. Domestic and International destination knowledge required.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment
  
  • Ability to engage yourself in a dynamic environment.
  
  • Must be highly productive in a self-directed work environment.
  
  • Strong consultative selling skills, decisive and successful problem solving abilities.
  
  • Must be able to quickly learn and integrate policy and procedures.
