Credit Controller RDP Creative / RDP Inc - London, United Kingdom

The purpose of this role is to ensure all customer accounts are correctly reported, invoiced on time and money collected within payment terms. In addition the role manages the Invoice Finance system and carries out additional finance duties as specified by the Finance Director.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
New client accounts
  • Check new client account forms including VAT details, process these through IF and SAP (Business One)
  • Discuss with FD of any credit restrictions on client account by IF and recommend revised credit terms and communication to Account Director.
  • Prepare reporting as agreed
Sales Ledger
  • Raise invoices from job bags ensuring all details are correct and POD are available for audit
  • Issue invoices to clients
  • All Credit notes to FD to sign off and maintain a monthly schedule for the month end file
Invoice Financing
  • Manage and process all receipts and invoices/amends through IF. Adhering to strict requirements of the bank.
  • Ensure all clients limits are monitored so there are no unknown retentions.
  • Reconcile IF ledgers every day and resolve any differences and prepare submission for sign off.
Credit Control
  • Manage client ledgers for the Group collecting monies within agreed terms
  • Process all payments through appropriate bank accounts
  • Send out statements and Dunning letters as agreed

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Competence in English (written and verbal) is essential
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Hard working, self motovated and happy to work within an small team
- Able to work to strict deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience of the Invoice Finance/Invoice Discounting process
- Working knowledge of SAP B1 highly desirable 
- Good Excel skills

Salary guide: £25,000-£28,000 pa, depending on experience.
