  • Enforces all labor laws (federal, state and local)
  • Follows procedures to maintain the safety and security of all employees, customers and company assets (building, cash, equipment, supplies)
  • Upholds company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements, to ensure the health and safety of our customers and employees
  • Establishes and implements departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures
  • Reviews financial statements and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
  • Prepares and manages unit's forecasts and budgets to control costs and maximize EBITDA
  • Achieves exemplary Mystery Shop and health inspection results
  • Satisfies sales and finance division requirements through adherence of budgets, policies, procedures, and quality of our product and service standards
  • A minimum of ten (10) years management experience, and at least three (3) as a General Manager
  • Must have experience within a restaurant, hotel, or other F&B unit with a similar capacity and clientele served
  • Ability to multitask in a high volume environment while maintaining service standards, a sense of humor and appearing calm
  • Impeccable attention to detail, ability to be attentive to guests while also playing a supportive role to front of house staff
  • Ability to lead a team, establish service standards and positively influence employee behavior
  • Strong financial and computer skills; experience working with and an understanding of Profit and Loss statements
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Certified License Holder with the Department of Alcohol Beverage ¿Control
  • Must be able to attend out-of-town traning for an extended period of time
  • Experience in a restaurant opening
